[ As much as Evie wants to walk to the couch on her own, she's tired and her adrenaline is going 'fuck this shit i'm out', not to mention the energy used on her spells. So she lets Stiles help her, one arm slung over his shoulders, Evie holding on as tight as she can.

Which, probably worryingly? Isn't all that tight.

Once she's settled on the couch with a groan and a hiss of pain through her teeth, she sighs and lets her breath out slowly, shaking her head.

Whatever it was, I was able to disperse it, which means it's probably not alive. But I didn't see what it was. I do know it didn't follow me, because my Guide wouldn't have come here if I was being followed. It would have gone after whatever it was.

[ She tries to keep herself sitting up, aware of just how bloody a mess she is and fully aware of how many injuries she has. There are twigs and leaves in her hair, and tiny bits of tree bark stuck to the back of her shirt from being flung into a tree by...whatever the thing in the woods was.

I'd dropped Henry off at his friends house for a sleepover and was walking home. Someone was shouting for help in the woods and with this being Beacon Hills, I should have left it. But I couldn't, because this is Beacon Hills. It could have been someone in actual danger.

[ Clearly it was not. She starts picking bits of stuff out of her hair, frowning just a bit and wincing because each movement causes a lot of pain. ]

I didn't see what it was but something went after me in the woods. And I'm not saying I didn't see it because it was dark out. There was enough light. I just didn't see it.
