[ It was a (reasonably) normal night, considering. Just hanging out around the house, no monsters to fight or research to do, which was always terrible for actually managing to stay out of trouble, but hey. He was entitled every now and then, right? Maybe?
And then there was a bang on the door, followed by a few more, more insistent, and after a few moments of indecision Stiles went tearing down towards the door and threw it open to find Evie on the other side of it. ]
Uh. Hey. Need a hand?

Deep breath. ]
Yes and yes. Come on-
[Nope. Nope she needs help. So he bends to help get her up and over the threshold of the door, already starting to try to figure out what he'll need, what's probably wrong, and everything else. ]
Let's get you to like. The couch or something. What happened? It didn't follow you or anything, right?

Which, probably worryingly? Isn't all that tight.
Once she's settled on the couch with a groan and a hiss of pain through her teeth, she sighs and lets her breath out slowly, shaking her head. ]
Whatever it was, I was able to disperse it, which means it's probably not alive. But I didn't see what it was. I do know it didn't follow me, because my Guide wouldn't have come here if I was being followed. It would have gone after whatever it was.
[ She tries to keep herself sitting up, aware of just how bloody a mess she is and fully aware of how many injuries she has. There are twigs and leaves in her hair, and tiny bits of tree bark stuck to the back of her shirt from being flung into a tree by...whatever the thing in the woods was.
I'd dropped Henry off at his friends house for a sleepover and was walking home. Someone was shouting for help in the woods and with this being Beacon Hills, I should have left it. But I couldn't, because this is Beacon Hills. It could have been someone in actual danger.
[ Clearly it was not. She starts picking bits of stuff out of her hair, frowning just a bit and wincing because each movement causes a lot of pain. ]
I didn't see what it was but something went after me in the woods. And I'm not saying I didn't see it because it was dark out. There was enough light. I just didn't see it.

[ To all of it, every single thing. None of it is good, just one more thing he's going to have to worry about on top of cleaning up the couch before his dad gets home. ]
Okay. I'm going to grill the hell out of you about that soon, but first you need a shower so we can figure out how much of the first aid kit I'm going to need to replace.

[ Evie teases some, but her feelings on the situation are right on the same level as his. This was no good. This was exactly what none of them needed. It was still summer. The worst they should be worrying about was school supplies. ]
Okay. Uh...if you don’t mind me borrowing some of your clothes. Mine are probably trashed.
[ She has long scratches across her back she isn’t aware of just yet that have stained the blue fabric of her shirt, her pants are muddy and bloody and also similarly shredded. It’s not going to be too big a drain on the first aid kit, but it’s not gonna look pretty either. ]

Crap, shit, damn, fuck, whatever no-good synonym you want to use. But yeah, I've got extra stuff you can wear. Of course.
I'm not going to need to carry you there, right? I mean, if I have to I will but I can't promise it'll be pretty.

[ Evie sighs and stands carefully, still wincing and hissing pain through her teeth. And doing her best not to show it. She gives Stiles a small, teasing and semi-flirty smile, trying her best to play off how bad she felt. ]
As fun as that sounds, I can walk. Just...follow me and make sure I don't fall over? I really feel awful.
